So, at the end of last semester, I was nervous and excited about switching voice studios. I wondered if I was making the right decision, whether or not I would grow...and I have to say, it was one of the BEST decisions I've ever made for myself. I've learned more in 2 months about singing, my voice, and just myself as a musician than I could ever imagine. Some days are better than others...I think I've already cried during at least 3 of my lessons because of breathing frustrations, but overall, I'm having the time of my life in there. I look forward to my lesson every week: singing, learning, playing around with ideas, vowels, colors and so much more. I haven't felt this hopeful, excited, passionate, and joyful about singing in a long time. I love my voice teacher to pieces; he's incredibly smart, intuitive, creative, and encouraging. I'm so glad to have taken that leap of faith....
